Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday emphasized that cooperation is key for the progress of the Telugu states. The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Davos Forum to discuss education reforms, IT development and skill-building initiatives.
During the meeting, Mr. Lokesh presented details of ongoing education reforms in Andhra Pradesh and progress in IT. He highlighted initiatives under the Andhra model of education and discussed the tangible results of policy measures aimed at improving student performance.
Mr. Revanth Reddy briefed Mr. Lokesh about the development and social programs of Telangana, especially the state’s skill development initiatives implemented in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services. He invited Mr. Lokesh to visit the fully modernized ITIs in Telangana which have been developed as skill campuses to witness the transformation first hand.
The Telangana Chief Minister also elaborated on infrastructure projects in Mulugu district, including the modernization of the Medaram Sammakka Saralamma temple complex with hundreds of crores in investment, road development and other civic facilities, which he described as a decades-long vision realized by the current government.
The two leaders agreed that cooperative governance and joint investment would make the Telugu states a model for the country. They expressed the belief that competition in attracting investment would not only benefit their states but also serve as a benchmark for national development.
