On Saturday, police officials of Lokayukta made a search all over the state in the premises associated with seven government officials and discovered valuables worth over 24.4 crore.
On the basis of preliminary surveys, the police registered Lokayukta inadequate cases (DA) and at the same time attacked 33 seats in the districts of Belagavi, Bagalakote, Ballari, Davanagere, Udupi, Gadag and Dharwad.
Lokayukty officials had uncovering the assets during the raids of Siddalingappa Banasi, D. Devara Urs Belagavi; Asset worth 2.93 GBP during raids on Shresehail Subhash Tatrani, FDA, Local Audit Office, Bagalakote; Assets worth 7.32 crore during raids on Amin Muktar Ahammed, Superintendent Engineer, PWD, Ballari; Assets worth 1.18 crore during raids on Ramakrishna Balappa Gudageri, PDO, Baada Gram Panchayath, Handle; Asset worth 2.89 GBP crore during OBAO raids, accountant, mescom, karkala, udupi; Assets worth 3.34 GBP Crore during raids on Gangadhara Veerappa Shirol, planning director, Nirmithi Kendra, Gadag and assets worth 5.3 Crore during H. Suresh, Chief Engineer, PWD Dharwad.
