Lokayukta officials on Wednesday captured the Executive BBMP engineer reportedly accepted 10 lakh bribe for official kindness.
The defendant, HV Yarappa Reddy, working in BBMP, CV Raman Nagar Office, allegedly demanded a bribe from Hemanth GM, supplier.
Unable to pay the amount, Mr. Hemanth filed a complaint and the team caught Reddy Redron.
He was booked and his house was later attacked to allegedly acquire gold and silver articles together with the in charge of the documents for further investigation.
