Bhimasingi sugar factory in the district of Vizianagararam on Monday.
Lok’s state president of the satta Bhisetti Babja demanded on Monday that the government should take steps to immediately re -open the Bhimasingi sugar factory.
Mr. Babji called The Lone Factory within the cooperative sector in the State together with activists Protest near the factory. He said that his revival with modern technology would benefit thousands of farmers of sugar cane in the district and would also ensure employment of almost 500 people and create economic activity in several villages of Jami and Gantyad Mandals district.
Mr. Babji claimed that the government did not take steps to remove PF, rewards and other benefits of workers who lost their jobs five years ago after the factory was closed. He said that many workers were unable to meet both ends in the absence of pension benefits that were to be paid according to work acts.
