
On Thursday, Lok Sabha approved a bill on immigration and foreigners of 2025, while the Minister of the Interior of the Union AMIT Shah said that the bill will ensure that the country obtains up -to -date information about each foreigner visiting India and strengthening internal security.
The bill on immigration and foreigners, 2025, piloted by the Ministry of the Interior of the Union, is a comprehensive legislation to regulate all matters concerning foreigners and immigration.

AMIT Shah, who replied to the debate on the bill in Lok Sabha, claimed that those who come to India for business, education and investments are welcome, but those who pose a threat to security will face strict action and add that India is not “Dharamshala”.
“Whether it is Rohingyas or Bangladesh, if they come to India to create riots, there will be strict measures against them,” the Minister of the Interior said.
The legislation seizes the Center to apply control over places that are “visited by any foreigner” and requires the owner to close the premises, allow it to be used under specified conditions or refusal to accept all or the “specified class” of foreigners.
11 March was presented by the law of the law by the Minister of the Interior of the Union Nityanand Rai. Congress MP Manish Tewari of Chandigarh and TMC MP Sougata Roy opposed it and claimed that, according to the Indian Constitution, “multiple fundamental rights” violated.

– If the new immigration law is passed by the parliament, anyone who has found that he uses a forged passport or visa for entry, stay or leaving India.

According to data from the Ministry of the Interior of the Union, 98.40 Lakh India foreigners visited between 1 April 2023 and 31. March 2024.
