A tourist who saved a tourist who slipped and fell into Vodonál in Nedumkandam Panchayat, idukki, was rescued by the locals.
The tourist was part of a four -member team that came from Madurai to visit Ramakkalmed. Tourists who arrived at around 16:00 were photographed in a limited area of the waterfall. The man allegedly took a selfie near the edge of the waterfall when he lost his position and fell. But he managed to stick to the rocks and prevent a deadly fall.
The local people threw themselves into the place after heard the screams of their companions. People attracted him to safety using a rope and other materials maintained in the case of emergencies in the house of the local resident. Repeated accidents were reported in this area. They requested the demand for the appointment of the safety guard on the waterfall to ensure the safety of tourists.
