Liverpool chief Arne Slot admitted that he was sad, that he lost Trento Alexander-Arnold, but claimed that the new player would get off to fill the shoes of the departing right back. Alexander-Arnold recently announced that he will leave his Boyhood Club in the summer, with rumors that connect him to the transfer to Real Madrid.
The slot, as Reuters quoted, spoke to the media before their clash against Arsenal, said fans were disappointed when England sees Defender, because he is a good man and a great player. The Dutch tactic said he has experience in solving big departures in the past and does not see Alexandra-Arnold as a problem.

“I think, like everyone who likes Liverpool and is a Liverpool fan, we are disappointed because a good man leaves the club, but also a very, very, very good fullback leaving us,” the slot told journalists before visiting the second Arsenal on Sunday.
“I also worked in clubs like AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord, where every season left a very good player or a few very good players … So maybe I’m a little more used to it.”
“The experience I have, and by the way, this club, that if a very good player is leaving, another very good player will perform and that’s probably what happens now,” the slot said.
“Let’s not compare Bradley with Trent”
Asked if Conor Bradley is a replacement for Alexander-Arnold, the slot said that both were a different type of players. The slot said Bradley, who was struggling this season with injuries, must be available every week to take the next step.
“We will not compare it to Trent. In my opinion, they are also different types,” he said.
“With Conor I think we all see the potential … Unfortunately, it didn’t fit throughout the season. To become a very good player, you must also be available every week, and this is the first step that has to take next season.”
“But we have great confidence in Conora as a very good fullback for Liverpool, and that’s what has shown in the last two seasons.”
Liverpool faces arsenal on Sunday 11 May.
