Passengers on Delta Air Lines tolerated scary suffering when part of the inner ceiling collapsed in the middle of the flight and forced them to physically support the structure. The incident occurred 14th April during the flight from Atlanta to Chicago and, according to the New York Post report, left the shaken passengers to handle the situation.
When the aircraft sailed for 30,000 feet, a video captured inside the cabin showed several men who got into the arms to lift the Operabian ceiling.
“My business partner was on the @delta from Atl to Chicago on Monday, when the roof of the aircraft collapsed. They were outside Chicago, had to return to Atlanta,” Lucas Payne said.
After the passengers entered the ceiling support, the Letin crew used the adhesive tape to temporarily secure the collapsed part of the roof.
“The atomitation finally suppressed it after they raised him for a while,” Payne explained as he was outraged on a dirty patch.
Asked about the incident spokesman Delta Air Lines: “Delta thanks our customers for their patience and cooperation. We apologize for the delay in their travels.”
According to Payne, Delta compensated to passengers “$ 10,000 (basically $ 100)” and added that they were forced to wait “for hours and release and get into another aircraft in Chicago”. “Aircraft are falling apart and no one is responsible !!!” He added.
Social media reacts
When some users responded to the video, they expressed concern about passenger safety, while others said the panels did not endanger the safety of the aircraft.
“Being alive today feels pretty cool,” wrote on Instagram survivors from chaos
“OMG. So no one saw it in the inspection of the plane,” one user said while the other asked, “It’s just an inner panel. He doesn’t endanger flight safety.”
The third commented: “This panel literally appears back to the place if they try.”
This is not the first time Delta has made subtitles over his plane problems. In February, Pearson’s international airport landed a Delta aircraft and turned upside down on the track. Despite the dramatic scene of the plane resting on its roof, all 80 passengers on board survived.
