Lionel Messi added another trophy to his remarkable collection as Inter Miami beat Cruz Azul 2-0 to win the Campeones Cup 2026. The Argentine scored his 100th goal for the club before turning provider and putting his fingerprints on another Inter Miami trophy.

Inter Miami came through in the 24th minute with a rather unexpected combination of Suarez-Messi. Luis Suarez found himself on the right and sent a cross into the box, Messi rose brilliantly to beat his keeper and direct the ball into the net.
