The meeting of Rajya Vokkal Farcera Sangha and Akhil Bharatha Veerashaiv Mahasabha decided to organize a joint protest against the social-economic and educational survey (Caste Census) submitted by the State Commission of Karnataka for back-class class.
Both dominant communities are dissatisfied with the population data that were collected in the 2015 Commission.
The survey report was submitted by K. Jayaprakash Hege-Cled Commissions in 2024, but so far only the population has been issued by ministers, recommendations for reclassification of caste and procedures received in data collection.
This problem is likely to come to discuss on May 2, when the state cabinet meets. Representatives of two community organizations met after almost ten years. National President Mahasabha Shamanur ShivashankaAppa was present.
According to Secretary of Mahasaby Hm Renuka Prasanna, while a joint protest is planned, the meeting was also a discussion on legal challenges that could be mounted against the survey.
“Common strategies have been discussed to be accepted against the survey report, along with ways that could be represented by representatives.
