Limited access to the AI ​​Summit on Day 1; The Expo will open to everyone from February 17

Entry to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 will have some restrictions on the first day of the event and the exhibition organized along with it will open for all from February 17, according to an official notification issued on Sunday (February 15, 2026).

Preparations are in the final stages and are in full swing for the India AI Impact Expo 2026, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Bharat Mandapam on Monday (February 16, 2026).

“Bharat Mandapam Expo Arena: Closed on February 16 (Inauguration by Honorable Prime Minister of India at 5 pm). Open for all from February 17,” the advisor said.

The exhibition will also feature 13 country pavilions representing international collaboration in the artificial intelligence ecosystem. These include pavilions from Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan and Africa.

The Expo will host more than 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, structured around three thematic chakras – People, Planet and Progress.

India AI Impact Summit 2026 will be held from February 16 to 20.

Officials involved in the preparations for the summit said guests will be able to attend the event by simply registering on DigiYatra or scanning the QR code on the India AI Impact Summit app at various entry points.

Those planning to attend the summit will get access to the main hall area of ​​the Bharat Mandapam from three gates — gates 4, 7 and 10 — in a limited manner, according to the advisory.

The entrance from gate 4 will only be open between 7:30 and 14:00, pick-ups by cars and taxis will be allowed.

After 14:00, access through Gate 4 will be regulated and restricted according to security protocol.

The Gate 7 entrance will open only after 2:00 PM where delegates will have to alight in front of the gate to enter the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center via the Business Plaza.

Gate 10 will be the closest for delegates commuting by metro trains.

“Access through other designated gates will continue to be subject to security screening and movement restrictions as per protocol,” the advisory said.

Both the venues, Bharat Mandapam Convention Center and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, will remain open between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm.

Shuttle service

The shuttle will run from the parking lots located at Purana Qila Parking, Zoo Parking Space and JLN Stadium Parking to Bharat Mandapam Gate 4.

Delegates will also gain access to a golf cart to access the Convention Center after entering through Gate 4.

Entry will be opened from Gate 2 of Sushma Swaraj Bhawan for pedestrians, metro users, offloading and self-propelled vehicles.

The official said there will be no shuttle service from the Bhairo Mandir parking lot, which has been allotted for around 600 media professionals who have registered for the summit.

More than 2.5 million visitors, including international delegates, are expected to attend India AI Impact Expo 2026. The event aims to foster new partnerships and create business opportunities within the global AI ecosystem.

Spread across 10 arenas spanning over 70,000 square meters, the Expo will bring together global technology firms, startups, academic and research institutions, union ministries, state governments and international partners.

“Registration for the event is free. No money is charged. Anyone can register and participate in any of the events on February 16, 17, 18 and 20,” said a Meita official.
