Life Certificate: South Western Railway to Conduct Special Jeevan Pramaan Camps at 5 Locations in Mysuru - Details

The South Western Railway (SWR) Mysuru Division will organize special camps in November at five locations to help railway pensioners and family pensioners generate and submit their digital life certificates as part of the nationwide Jeevan Pramaan 5.0 campaign, Hindus reported.

Railway Board launched Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) 5.0 campaign on 1st November. The month-long initiative will end on November 30 and aims to help railway pensioners and family pensioners submit their life certificates through digital methods, including face verification and biometric authentication, the report further said.

The campaign aims to reduce the need for pensioners to physically visit banks and offices in order to present life certificates.

Jeevan Pramaan 5.0: Check Dates and Venues of Special Camps in Mysuru Division

As part of the campaign, SWR Mysuru Division will organize special Digital Life Certificate camps at five locations to help railway pensioners and family pensioners in generating and handing over their certificates.

The schedule is as follows:
Mysuru: November 6 at Kalyana Railway Mantapa.
Hassan: November 12 at the JMK office at the station.
Shivamogga: November 12 at JMK office at railway station.
Arsikere: 18th November at SSE/Permanent Way Office near Arsikere Railway Station.
Harihar: November 18 at SMR office at Harihar railway station.

All five camps will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Life certificate: Documents that railway pensioners must carry with them

Nominated social security inspectors and other staff will be available at the camps to assist retirees with the digital life certificate process.

Camp participants were advised to bring the following documents and information with them:

A copy of their Pension Payment Order (PPO).
Original Aadhaar card.
Bank passbook or bank account details associated with the PPO.
Aadhaar linked mobile phone.
Valid photo ID for verification if required.
