‘Liberate 2025 – Festival of Knowledge, Technology and Company’ from Chintha publishers will start in Jawahar Balabhavan here on Monday, August 25.
The festival, which will be until 3 September, will present lectures and panel discussions, an international book festival, competitions for students, technical Expo and cultural events. The State Secretary of the CPI (M) MV Govindan will start the event on Monday at 10:30.
The aim of the festival is to provide a comprehensive view of modern technology and the impact they have on society, said the organizers and described this event as “fusion of technology, art and news”.
The topics for panel discussions and lectures include “Ghost in the Machine: Technology and Agency”, “independence in technology”, “social life at digital age” and “education at the age of artificial intelligence”. Several workshops were also planned as part of a ten -day event. Themes include calligraphy, building intelligent systems using Raspberry Pi and new media.
“Bul Musical Nite” with Santhi Priya will be held on Monday at 6 pm at the venue.
