The Indian veteran between the Lhakpa Tsering circuits is preparing for one of the most exhausting events of motoring in the Asia-Assia running rally (AxCR) 2025. Known as “Dakar of the East”, the nine-day event will fight at 3,400 kilometers in Thailand from 8 to August 16.
LHAKPA representing India – and proudly bear hopes in the northeast – will lead the latest Toyota Hilux, built for extreme endurance.
“It is an honor to represent India at Asia Cross Country Rally and even more strange to bear hope to the northeast with me,” Lhakpa said. “It’s a big step not only on my journey, but also for the aspiring talent of motor sports from the region. I am a grateful JK Tire, the Ministry of Youth Arunacal Pradesh and Tanir Engineering for trusting me and supporting this dream.”
This year’s AxCR will present the best teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Tai -wan, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and India. The route, which starts in Pattaya, requires the highest mental gravel, physical stamina and flawless teamwork when competitors pass through dense forests, mountain trails, river bed and unforgivable field tracks.
Arunacal Pradesh Department of Youth Affairs uses a unique landscape of the state and builds a prosperous adventure sports ecosystem, organizes exhibition trips and cooperation with South East Asia to develop skills in adventure tourism, martial arts, culinary arts and others. The aim of these initiatives is to seize youth, strengthen tourism and build a state as a leading center for environmental activities.
Dilling Tatak’s Tatar Engineering was helpful in the development of infrastructure and supporting youth programs, while Doc Rider continues to inspire the motoring community in the region through events, mentorship and defense for safe and qualified rides.
With a powerful machine, experienced support and unshakable ride, LHAKPA TSERING now focuses on its monuments on AxCR – a plant that tests every limit in trying to glory for India.
