Credit for the “Clean City” brand from Mysur goes to Porakarmikas, said the Minister responsible for the Mysuru district of HC Mahadevappa and handed over letters with appointment, which confirms their status of ordinary government employees.
Mahadevappa said that Poirakarmikas will now be entitled to all the benefits of government employees on Friday at Karnataka State Open University (KSO) on Friday.
“Today you all become permanent government employees. You will be entitled to all the benefits received by the government employees in the state,” he said.
Mahadevappa pointed out that Pourkarmikas was even sent for training in Singapore, and said that the spirit of the Constitution itself is to first prefer the most marginalized. “Our government is a pro-Civic workers and will ensure all the necessary equipment for you,” he added.
He stressed that children of civic workers should gain higher education and achieve high positions. “Everyone should be educated. The government has many programs – it uses them well,” he said. Tanveer Sait, MLA, congratulated Porakarmikas for achieving success in their struggle to become regular employees.
“Civil workers are working throughout the country on the basis of a contractual basis. Because of the bold steps taken by the state government, your dream has now come true,” he said.
He pointed out that the local bodies were densely populated, and emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness. Recognition of the hard word that The Poracarmikas has kept the city clean, especially during the dasary, when tourists from different countries and foreign countries visit Mysur, Mr. Sait said that the grandeur of festivities is increased due to the efforts of Porakarmicas in the cleanliness of the city.
Given that the government confirmed their employment, Mr. Sait called on civic workers to do their work with greater responsibility.
Former Mayor Narayan said that Poorarmicas should use the state government system to regulate his job and work to build a better future for his children.
Regional Commissioner DS Ramesh, Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Commissioner City City City Corporation Shaikh Tanveer Asif and others were present on this occasion.
