
Newly hired candidates of various central government departments with Manish Thaplyal, divisional railway manager, on Saturday Zagar Mel in Thiruvananthapurama.
On Saturday there were up to 93 candidates for Zagar Mel.
Manish Thaplyal, a divisional railway manager (DRM), handed over the letters to selected candidates at Mel organized by the Thiruvananthapuram division in the southern railway in Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates receiving their appointment letters were sent in institutions including Indian Railways, Indian Space Research Organization, Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, Central Reserve Police Force, Union Bank of India, Organization Fund, Central Water Commission and IIM Kozhikode. Among them, 54 candidates were appointed on Indian railways.
The event was part of the nationwide initiative, in which over 51,000 names were held through Indian railways through Indian railways through Indian railways. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the newly appointed candidates through a video conference during the program.
“It is a moment of pride to witness young individuals entering public service, especially in departments, such as railways, which tase millions of lives daily,” Mr. Thaplyal said in his welcome speech.
“Indian railways undergo rapid transformation and modernization and youth that joined the service on Saturday, become part of this historical development. Your determination, efficiency and integrity will not only create your future but also the progress of the nation,” he said.
In addition to Thiruvananthapurama, the southern railway, on Saturday, organized the Mlalas in Palakkada and Madurai.
