The Minister of Social Security and Strengthening the position of Women P. Geetha Jeevan called on all to cooperate to create thoothuku without drugs at the state level at the state level called “Drug Free Tamil Nadu”, which took place on the government polytechnic university on Monday.
The event was carried out as part of the “Trag Free Tamil Nadu”, which was led by the representative of the main Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin in Chennai.
Mrs. Geetha Jeevan, who addressed the students for the event, said the event was organized to extend the awareness of drug abuse, especially focused on youth and students. “Those who become addicted drugs often avoid their family and society. They lose their ability to work properly and cannot provide job opportunities and end socially excluded,” she said.
She called on students to report to any illegal sale of drugs in the company either by the district administration or to the police department.
Mrs. Geetha Jeevan announced that funds were allocated to the Toothukuki district to create awareness of drug abuse, and added that the District Administration formulated ideas for this program.

In Kanniyakumari was chaired by the district collector R. Alagumeen ceremony at the private university in NerCOIL. Mrs. Alagumena emphasized the goal of the event and urged students not to be imprisoned in addiction, and noted that they should avoid drug use in any form that can destroy their future.
Police superintendent Kanniyakumari R. Stalin, Mayor of Nergercoil R. Malesh and Padmanabhapuram Sub Collector Vinay Kumar Meena were present.
