
Air India, which was bound to Indore, returned to Delhi on the early Sunday hours 31. August, shortly after take -off, after the pilot received the “fire indication” in the right engine, the airline said.
Air India said the aircraft was grounded for checking. Passengers are moving to another aircraft that will soon run flight to Indore.

The airline said the Air Security Regulator, the General Directorate for Civil Aviation (DGCA), was properly informed about the incident.
The last incident comes after the flight from Bombay to Jodhpur interrupted take -off and on Friday he returned to the Gulf for “operational” reasons, PTI reported on August 22.
In its statement, Air India stated that alternative measures have been taken to fly passengers to its destination.
“The AI645 flight from Bombay to Jodhpur 22. August returned to the bay due to the operating problem. The cockpit crew decided to intercede for standard operational procedures and brought the plane back,” the statement added.
“Our ground team in Mumbai has extended immediate help to minimize inconvenience,” he added.
DGCA FLAGS 51 shortcomings in Air India operations
These incidents come weeks after DGCA report has identified 51 security deficiencies in Air India Group-owned by Tata, nor said.
The report is based on an inspection made between 1 and 3 July on the main base of Air India.
The internal supervision report revealed significant failures in multiple areas, including flight, crew assembly, simulator training, digital guidance and on -board guides.
