
The Air India coming from Hong Kong reported a fire incident shortly after landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Tuesday. All passengers and crew members were safely evacuated, although the aircraft suffered minor damage.
The incident occurred on the Flight AI 315, which landed in Delhi on the evening of July 22. The fire broke out in the auxiliary energy unit of the aircraft (APU) after parked at the gate and while the passengers began to perform.

The Air India spokesman said: “Flight AI 315, acting from Hong Kong to Dilli 22 July 2025, experienced an auxiliary energy unit (APU) fire shortly after landing at the gate.
The airline added that “there was a certain damage to the aircraft; passengers and crew members, however, normally appeared and are safe. The aircraft was anchored for further investigation and the regulator was properly informed.”
Delhi’s International Airport Limited (Dial) officials confirmed that the fire was immediately extinguished and stated that a detailed investigation was currently underway.
On Monday, Air India created subtitles due to two separate aircraft incidents. At the airport in Delhi, the Air India flight bound to Air India in Calcutta was canceled due to technical capture.

Flight 6E 813, which deviated from the international airport Goa (Dabolim), reported a snag just before landing. “The aircraft landed safely in Indore. It will undergo the necessary checks before renewing operations, according to mandatory procedures,” Indigo spokesman said.
