
Leptospirosis, hepatitis and and shigelosis have seen a drastic increase in Keraly in the last three years. Cases and deaths and deaths of PAM) primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM) have more than doubled in the last two years, although in 2024 a high number of mumps have also been reported.

Change of pattern
