Rising temperatures have triggered a massive increase in demand for thirst quenchers, causing lemon prices to skyrocket. Local vendors said the price of lemons has more than tripled compared to previous months.
Earlier, lemons were priced between ₹60 and ₹80 per kg. Today, the price has jumped between ₹ 280 and ₹ 300 per kg.
