The ongoing legislative session has now been extended until February 4. A decision to this effect was taken at the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting on Thursday.
Earlier, the session, which began on January 22 with Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot’s address, was scheduled to end on January 31. However, the BAC decided not to hold the meeting on Saturday.
Announcing the BAC’s decision in the Assembly, UT Chairman Khader said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would respond to the debate on the motion of thanks to the governor’s address on February 2, while the debate on the resolutions to be moved by the government would be on February 3 and 4. The government will respond to the debate on the resolutions on February 4.
