
Left -wing organizations rejected the accusation of government interference to the APJ Abdul Kalam (KTU) technology university as in fact and misleading.
The controversy focuses around the government investigation of the alleged rejection of the admission of a doctoral to a former member of the University of Syndicate. While various quarters claimed that the spacecraft was initiated under the provisions of the University Act (amendment) that has not yet become law, the confederation of university employees, and all associations of private universities in Kerala claimed that the probe was based on APJ ABDUL KALAM Technological University of 2015.
Pursuant to Section 9 (2) of the Act, the state government is legally authorized to initiate an investigation if it receives complaints concerning violations of university regulations. The university is obliged to act according to the recommendations of such an investigation and the Chancellor (Governor) has no appeal in this respect, as clearly stated in the legislation, the organization claimed in their statements.

They added that the state government appointed another secretary to investigate the complaint that allegedly invented documents were used to refuse to accept the former member of the Syndicate. Unlike the reports, there was no intervention of the governor to stop this investigation.
In addition, several members of the Syndicate and statutory officers filed complaints to the Cyber Police on the alleged circulation of false letters from the Office of the Vice -President. Some of these complaints are currently on the basis of an active investigation, and there is an effort to monitor those responsible for counterfeit documents.
