The left side, which criticized the government for a recent increase in the price of gas cylinders and the introduction of special excise tax on gasoline and diesel, called an attack on working people and demanded an immediate return on Tuesday (April 8, 2025).
In his statement, he stated here that the CPI policy office (M) that the increase in gas prices must have an crippling impact on the already burdened lives of people for inflation. “Instead of bringing the benefits of declining international oil and gas prices, the government imposes on additional burden. The Communist Party of India condemned the hike and called this step “another attack on the living people”. “Since the BJP came to power, LPG prices have seen a consistent increase, even at a time when global oil prices remained historically low. Instead of passing the advantage of people, the Modi regime diverted it in favor of oil companies and private societies,” CPI Secretary General. The party demanded that the consumer subsidy of 250 GBP for the lpg roller be renewed for general consumers. “For those who are below the poverty category below and enrolled in the PM Ujjwala system, at least six cylinders must be provided without payment. Access to clean cooking is not a luxury, it is a basic necessity and law,” said Mr. Raja.
