Mr. Kharge, who expressed “surprises” in the timing of the notification of the caste census, attributed Mr. Gandhi to the government’s decision to conduct a caste.
“Parliament must have a debate immediately about this matter. The government must immediately allocate the necessary funds and announce a clear time for each census phase, from the preparation of questionnaires and methodology to actual enumerations, classification and possible publication of data,” said CWC resolution.
