Government and industry leaders have identified 87,520 GBP-Crore ($ 15 billion) to establish the first Indian artificial intelligence (AI) and the data center in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, as a determining moment in the Earth’s technological path.

Adani Gautam, Chairman of the Adani Adani, said the facility would accommodate the TPU and GPU infrastructure for extensive AI training and deployment. “We are proud to work with Google to create the largest Indian AI data center, designed for artificial intelligence requirements,” he said.
Bharti Airtel said he would set up a data center and a cable station in Visakhapatnam to host new Google cables. “This effort will improve Indian digital skills and provide faster and better AI experiences at national level,” he said.
Google India has described this step as its largest investment in India, including a new infrastructure, international underwater gate and computer technology in Gigawatt to serve global operations.
