General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) D. Raja expressed the certainty that the left democratic front (LDF) would retain power in the upcoming elections and said that the population of the state will again become a progressive and secular administration.
On Friday, the valedictory session of the centenary of the birth of CPI in Thrissur addressed.
Mr. Raja, who challenged the ideological foundation of the ruling BJP and his parent organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said “I dare RSS to show evidence of his role in the Indian struggle for freedom.”
Referring to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Mr. Raja noted that the CPI was among the first to condemn the incident. “Although our nation’s sovereignty is at risk, the Prime Minister is silent, although the US President claims that recognition for conveying a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
He appreciated Kera for example in the rest of India’s defense of democracy and federalism. “It was a communist movement in Kerala that broke the monopoly of the government of one party in India. At a time when municipal and fascist forces seek to divide the country, it is the youth who has to get up with the spirit of” Inquinelab Zindabad “to defend the constitution,” he said.
Before he gave his speech, Mr. Raja was welcomed by a show of more than a hundred Youth Volunteers Army Youth volunteers. The event was chaired by the Minister of Income K. Rajan. Many CPI leaders participated.
