
The laying of the eighth anti-case warships, which is being built for the Indian Navy, took place in Cochin Shipyard Limited 29.
The laying of the hernia from the eighth counter -slaughter war (ASW), which was built for the Indian Navy, took place in Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Vice Admiral Rajaram Swaminathan, War Production and Acquisition controller, 29 May 2025.
Among the present was Madhu S. Nair, Chairman and CEO of CSL and the back of the Admiral Vishal Bishnoi, auxiliary controller of the warship.
The ASW Eight Ships Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Defense (MOD) and CSL on April 30, 2019. The MaE ship class replaces the ABhay Asw Corvettes Indian Navy and is designed to undergo Protiponos in coastal waters Operations, and supported operation. The vessels are capable of a maximum speed of 25 nodes and have an endurance of 1,800 naval miles. They are equipped with native developed, state -of -the -art sonars for underwater supervision. This is an example of India’s ability to produce top, technologically demanding warships with high indigenous content within the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” initiative.
