The Delhi High Court on Monday (April 27, 2026) closed the proceedings on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s petition against the release of ‘Lawrence of Punjab’ on ZEE5 in view of the Centre’s recommendation to the OTT platform against releasing the documents.
Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav observed that unless the notices issued by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting are set aside, the makers may not be able to release the documents.
