The assembly of groups of civil rights under the auspices of the Association for Civil Rights Protection on Thursday said that awarding the Razakar Film Award is a violation of the revolutionary spirit of Gaddar and an insult to Telangan’s culture and history.
“Gaddar rejected Nandi prices twice. The introduction of the price in his name is bad. But handing over the prize named after him on a dividing, mischievous and historically toxic film like Razakar is simple,” said N. Venugopal, who spoke at a press conference in Hyderabad.
“The film sowing the seeds of disagreement among people from Telangana who lived together with the ganga-jami today,” said Mr. Venugopal, author and journalist as he told the film sank at the box office.
“The Congress Party, which opposed Razakar before his release due to its dividing content, has now approved its recognition through the Gaddar State Prizes. This contradictory attitude has deeply mentioned Muslim sentiment and secular -minded people across Telangana who perceive prices as municipal propaganda,” another speaker.
“Cancel the Gaddar Award awarded the Razakar movie and re -evaluate the price selection process,” said the spokesman of the Association for Civil Rights Protection.
