Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chef Lalu Prasad on Tuesday (September 9, 2025) performed “Pind-Daan” rituals in the temple of Ji’s Vishnupad for the salvation of the souls of his Enacestor.
Mr. Prasad arrived in a temple in a wheelchair along with his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejashwi Yadav and sister -in -law Rajshree Yadav on the banks of the Falg River.

The leader of the opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav said that his father’s health is not right, even though he wanted to visit the Vishhnupad temple to make “Pind-Daan” to save the souls of his ancestors.

Pandit Shambhu Nath, a priest in the temple, said that when Mr. Prasad was a railway minister, he visited the temple to make Pind-Daan.

August 22, 2025, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gaya Ji, Mr. Prasad dug on his visit by writing a contribution on the social media “X” and said, “Prime Minister Modi comes to gaya to make Pind-Daan from Nitish Kumar and his party.”
