
Kylian Mbappe officially withdrew his civic case against his former club Paris Saint-Germain, where during his last season in France he accused the club of moral harassment. The decision was confirmed by his lawyer Pierre-Olivier Sur on Monday, July 8.
“We’re downloading our civic action,” Sur AFP said, just a few days before Mbappe’s current club Real Madrid is to face PSG in the semifinals of the FIFA Club World Championship.
The dispute between MBAPPE and PSG has cooked since its significant move to Real Madrid before the 2024-25 season. Mbappe’s claim was the central point of fallouts that he was exposed to “lofting” – practice in French football, where players are isolated from the main group of disciplinary, administrative or sports reasons.
Mbappe claimed that after reporting PSG about his decision not to renew his contract, he was effectively frozen. He was expelled from a pre -season tour of Japan and South Korea club and forced himself to train with a separate group of players. PSG also tried to create a record transfer to Al-Hilala in Saudi Arabia, reportedly worth 300 million euros, which the attacker dropped.
The situation was getting worse when MBAPP was hit by domestic fans at the Parc des Princes in his final performance for the club. He was even omitted from the PSG Ligue 1 opener, but later returned to the event after interviews with the club officials.
