
Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav started a new chapter in his personal life by marrying his fiancee Vanshika Singh on Saturday, March 14 in a grand ceremony held in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The wedding came soon after Kuldeep was part of India’s successful T20 World Cup 2026 campaign where the team retained their title.
The couple officially announced their engagement on 4 June 2025 during a traditional ceremony in Lucknow. The wedding was originally planned for November 2025, but was postponed to accommodate Kuldeep’s international cricket commitments.

Kuldeep and Vanshika share a long-standing bond, having grown up as childhood friends in Kanpur and their families living just three kilometers apart – Kuldeep from Lal Bungalow and Vanshika from Shyam Nagar.
Vanshika, an administrative officer at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) who also pursued higher studies in Melbourne, has been a constant presence in Kuldeep’s life from his cricketing days to the age of 19.
The pre-wedding festivities started on March 13 featuring traditional Haldi and Mehendi rituals at the resortattended by family, friends and fellow cricketers. Notable participants included cricketers Chahal, Rinku Singh and coach T. Dilip. Chahal was particularly energetic, dancing to dhol beats and applying turmeric during the Haldi ceremony.
The ceremony began at 11am, with the couple looking radiant and happy in official photographs. A grand reception is planned for March 17 at Hotel Centrum in Lucknow, where dignitaries from cricket, politics and business are expected to join the celebrations.
