
Oman dough vinayak Shukla said that the upcoming clash of the Asia Cup with India will be excitement and nostalgia when he is preparing for his childhood friend Kuldeep Yadav in the match of the group and on Friday, September 19 at the International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. While Shukla represented PSE and Kuldeep played for the Rovers Club, both often crossed the roads in local matches. These formative years left him with esteemed memories that are now coming in a full circle as they meet again on the international scene.
“We had many friendly games together”
Shukla admitted that he feels nervous by playing against cricket power plants such as India and Pakistan, but at the same time he is grateful for the opportunity. For him, there is nothing but a dream to test his skills against some of the best players in the world.

“I played with Kuldeep Yadav back in India, so I hope we will meet soon. It’s a great opportunity for me and my team to play against parties like Pakistan and India. We grew up watching these players on TV.
“I remember playing matches with Bhai Kuldeep in Kanpur. He was with the Rovers Club and I played for the dog. We had many friendly games together. As soon as he bowed to me and hit him at four and said,” Oh, quite a good shot! “There are some memories and I always appreciate them,” Shukla said.
“Difficult decision”
For Vinayak Shukl, the journey from Kanpur to the international cricket was something other than conventional. The Oman dough, which will be in action in the upcoming Asia Cup, revealed a difficult decision that he had to make to maintain his cricket ambitions alive.
“It was a very difficult decision. In November 2021 I left the Indian cricket and moved to Oman to chase my dreams. I work as a data operator in National Metal cans. Back in Kanpur I started playing in local clubs like PAC cricket, and then I moved around different cities.
Oman has already bowed from the tournament and will play pride against India. After a strong 93-run loss in their opening game, they suffered a 42-Run defeat in the United Arab Emirates (SAE), which sealed their east.
