Curtain descended at Aranga, a district art festival organized by the district mission of Kudumbasree Thiruvananthapuram, to present creative talents of members of the auxiliary group on Thursday.
Kattakada Community Development Society (CDS) gained a total trophy with 76 points. Kizuvilam CDS was the first finalist with 53 points. Nelanad CDS and Chenkal CDS shared third place with 46 points.
Almost 300 women out of 40 CDs in the district showed their talent in five places. They competed for 81 phase and unstable events in two categories-18 to 40 (junior) and over 40 (senior).
IB Satheesh, MLA, opened the Valedictors of Arangu in Gopinath Natanagramam, Vattyurkava. She chaired the IM Parvathhy councilor. Coordinators of the district mission Kudumbashree Ramesh G. and the assistant of the coordinator Unnikrishhnan spoke.
