
APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) employees finally approved relief from relief after Tuesday, approved the annual budget of the university at 2025-26.

Bog’s consent
After the decision of the Syndicate of the Chancellor (VC) in charge of K. Sivaprasad, he exercised his special powers pursuant to Section 14 (6) of the University Act to sanction the expected expenses from July to the Governor Council (BOG) the final approval of the budget. The order on Tuesday made it possible to release the salaries of employees, pensions and onam bonuses.
Members of Syndicate noted that such a step could take the VC earlier in order to avoid the financial problems faced by employees.
The sources stated that the meeting also decided to recommend the re -appointment of the former registrar A. This step for re -appointment previously caused a confrontation between members of the VC and members of the Syndicate after the former refused to make a similar decision earlier.
