
BRS working President KT Rama Rao stressed that cooperation between governments and IT companies is essential for Indian youth to compete in the AI sector. He called on Indian entrepreneurs to establish their companies in India, especially in Tier-2.
During her visit to the US, KTR met with IT representatives in Dallas and emphasized the potential for small and medium IT companies to establish offshore centers in India. He noted that the metal period has shown that work from anywhere in the world can be done for any society.
KTR pointed out that during the nine-year BRS rule, IT industry was extended to Tier-2 in Telangana. “The government has set up HUS in 10 such cities and offered facilities without rent in the first year, plug-and-play infrastructure and various incentives,” he added.
Former IT Minister stressed that while multinational giants like Amazon and Google do not have to move to Tier-2, small and medium-sized IT companies. He emphasized huge opportunities in Tier-2, Indian cities, which have a good connectivity of rail and roads and predict a remarkable development in the next two decades.
However, several IT company representatives noted that the growth of the IT industry in Telangana slowed.
