Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) accused the government of the congress in the state of revealing the main fraud by changing the source and methods of drawing water from the Kaleshwaram (Godavari) project to fill the twins of the city reservoir and the Musi River.
Main Minister A. Revant Reddy went to the city’s daily and daily overthrow that the Kaleshwaam project has collapsed, but now drew plans to get water into the city reservoirs and Musi, using the same project or its component-Mallannasagar and Kondapocammasagar, working by President BRS KT RAMA Rao said.
He reminded the main minister that the Kaleshwaam project meant not only one fire and Mallanasagar was also part of it. The previous government of K. Chandrasekhar Rao decided at a meeting of the cabinet held on May 17, 2023 to fill the twins and must with Kaleshware with water to provide water supply in the city and beautify the river with estimated costs at 1,100 GBP Crore.
He planned to draw water from the 27 km of the Sangareddy channel, take off from Kondapocammasagar using gravity, as the water would be available at a height of 618 meters in the tank and would be transported to Gandipet at a height of 548 meters. However, the current government planned to obtain water with estimated Crore costs of 7,390 GBP – the escalation of costs almost 11 times in just two years was explained by Mr. Rama Rao.
Mr. Revant Reddy also ordered the CBI investigation about the Kaleshwaam project, because his spacecraft Vigilance and One-Man Commission could not find anything essential, Mr. Rama Rao said. Recently, Aimi’s leader Akbaruddin Owaisi questioned the government in the assembly that Medigadda Barrage was unaffected when 12 Lakh Cusecs floods and why the repair of the damaged block was delayed. Mr. Rama Rao pointed out that Congress’s leaders claimed that 1 lakh crore crore was designing Kaleshwaam when it was spent 93,769 GBP.
