The driver of the Kera State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) of a fast passenger bus, which was transferred from Kottayam to Thrissur after the Minister of Transport Ganesh Kumar captured the bus and directed against it to place bottles on the water between the dashboard and the front of the rug. The bus was stopped in Ayoor while he was on his way from Mundakkayam to Thiruvananthapuram. The driver, Jaimon Joseph in his plea, claimed that he had completed a nine -year service in KSRTC without any case of disciplinary proceedings. He added that during a 210 km trip it carries two bottles of water and that there was no alternative space in the driver’s cab to place the bottles. The thing was published for hearing after a week.
