Kozhikode Corporation and Payyoli have improved their performance in SWACHH SURVEKShan 2024 Ministry of Housing and Union.
According to the edition on Thursday (July 17), Kozhikode Corporation is 70th. In the 2023 survey, the corporation was on 3,367. This is the first time that the city’s civic body in Kerala has reached under 1,000. The rank since the beginning of the survey in 2016.
Along with this, the municipal municipalities of Payyoli appeared among the 20 cities from the state that was included in the “One Star” ranking in “waste without waste”. This is the first time that the city civil authorities from Kerarals also acquire the highest series in this category. Payyoli also improved its performance in the Swachh Survekshan ranking from 3,707. Position in 2023 to 596 in 2024.
