Kourtney Kardashian Slams ‘Fake’ Rumors About Son Mason

Unlike most other Kardashian grandchildren, Mason Disick prefers a private life and has not appeared on his family’s television shows for many years.

However, in February, rumors surfaced on Reddit suggesting he had fathered a child, prompting his mother, Kourtney Kardashian, to address the claims.

Recently, wild rumors circulated online claiming that Kourtney’s eldest son, Mason, had fathered a child. These rumors originated from a social media account allegedly linked to Mason, where pictures of a young girl were shared, accompanied by claims that she was his daughter named Piper.

Posts from Instagram accounts such as “MasondDSH” and “Masonsecrets” were reposted on Reddit, fueling the speculation. The accounts claimed that Piper was Mason’s daughter.

According to a Daily Mail report, one follower asked, “Did you have a child?” to which the Instagram account replied, “Yes, yes.”

Another follower inquired, “Why didn’t they show you when you had Piper?” The account responded, “Piper doesn’t count. I was forced to do it, so it’s not my fault she was created.”

When asked, “Who is Piper?” the account replied, “Failed protection.”

In another post, the account claimed to “sometimes see Piper.” The account also responded, “I really know that the older she gets, the more she looks like me,” after a follower commented, “Honestly, she looks like you when you were a child.”

Kourtney Kardashian rarely engages with social media drama, but she felt compelled to address the viral rumors about her son.

On Sunday, the mother of four took to her Instagram Stories to debunk the false claims circulating about Mason.

“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies about me or my family,” Kourtney began. “But this is my child, and it’s wrong to let anyone believe these lies could remotely be true. They’re not.”

The reality TV star emphasized, “Mason does not have a child. These accounts pretending to be him are absolutely fake. They are not him.”

She added, “My son truly values his privacy, and I ask all media outlets to be respectful: he’s a child with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Stop spreading fake stories and spinning lies.”

Kourtney concluded, “And to all the other people making videos about my children—who, by the way, are minors—stop and leave them alone.”

This isn’t the first time Kourtney has addressed rumors about Mason.

In July 2022, she spoke out about fake accounts spreading stories about him after some people began to believe the claims.

In a tweet, Kourtney wrote, “Hello everyone, I hope it’s a beautiful Thursday. After months of thinking, I’d clarify this once and for all: these fake accounts are not Mason. Some of you already know this, but others might not.”

She added, “So, to be clear: Mason is not behind these fake social media accounts discussing our family.”

Kourtney Kardashian’s oldest child, who turned 15 in December, has always valued his privacy and is rarely seen on his family’s social media accounts.

As Mason grew older, he stepped away from the spotlight and has not appeared on “The Kardashians” or “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” for many years.

He also did not appear in the televised wedding specials for Kourtney and Travis Barker’s lavish ceremonies.

Although the teenager attended the weddings, he was not featured in any footage from the televised versions.

Kourtney shares Mason, daughter Penelope, 12, and son Reign, 10, with her ex, Scott Disick. She also shares son Rocky, born in November 2023, with Travis Barker.

The proud mother spoke about Mason’s preference for privacy during an appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.

She said, “He doesn’t want any part of it. He’s not on social media. He doesn’t love it, and I want my kids to be kids. I strive for as normal a life as we can have.”

Mason officially joined social media in May 2024. His Instagram account has 874,000 followers, but only eight people are allowed to follow him. So far, he has posted just five times.
