Kodaga continues to be one of the best tourist destinations in the state and in 2024 drew 45.72 visitors to Lakhů and in 2023 broke his record, which pulled 43.99 lakh tourists.

Steps were also taken to develop “Coorg Village” near Raja’s seat in Madikeri. The department joined the hand with the Orange Growers Cooperative Society in Gonikoppal to popularize the oranges of Kodag among tourists.
