Pant created history and became the first Indian goalkeeper to score centuries in both shifts of the test match. It is remarkable that it was a pant of the second century of the match, after its 134 in the first shifts-he marked hundreds of his back together in the same test.

With this performance, Pant joined the elite list of guest battering, who recorded five consecutive 50 plus scores in England.
