Ward 10 visited the Minister of the KN NEZRU Municipal Administration on Saturday and checked the area allegedly affected by water contamination a week ago.
He visited the families of the deceased, comforted them and assured the public that water was safe to consume.
Mr. Nezru rejected reports of contamination -related deaths as a legend, referring to the evaluation of the laboratory confirming water safety and attributing the death of other health complications.
He checked the quality of the water supplied to the inhabitants and checked special medical camps established in this area. Mr. Nezru interact with the inhabitants and ensured that they were getting clean and safe drinking water.
Mayor M. Anbazhagan, Commissioner of Corporation V. Saravanan, and collector M. Pradeep Kumar accompanied the Minister.
Medical camps took place until Saturday and most patients who were admitted to hospitals were released, a higher official said.
