Chaos won at sometime during the session of the General Authority for the Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC), which took place on Saturday, when dissolved arguments broke out between the members of the YSR (YSRCP) and Telugu Desam (TDP) members.
When the tension ran high, the YSRCP corporator plunged the chair in a bout of rage, but the police hit in time to get the situation under control.
The meeting was chaired by the mayor of Kurnool Ramaiah and deputy B. Nagaraju, Mlas Goura Charity Charrita Reddy, Commissioner KMC S. Ravindra Babu and others.
Minutes after the opening of the meeting Members of YSRCP expressed their indignation over the incipline of the resolution, which previously passed through the general body of KMC. This has led to the arguments between YSRCP and TDP, which forced the mayor to postpone the session for 10 minutes.
Funds for projects
The meeting was renewed sometime later and adopted several resolutions. The meeting adopted the Resolution to assign a Crore 1.30 GBP for drinking water projects, 57 GBP Lakh for appointment of 21 members under the maintenance contract, 40 lakh for accepting CC Road and Drain Works near the Maremma temple in the 17th Department, 16 £ 16 to expand the runoff to 45.
It was also decided to impose sentences on traders selling articles such as balloon bars, plastic covers, glasses, candies and all plastic cells by less than 120 microns. It was decided to impose a sentence of 2,500 GBP for the first offense, 5,000 GBP for the second offense for small traders, while the same would be 20,000 GBP and 40,000 GBP on commercial facilities.
It was also decided to name Kisan Ghat near Anand Talkies after Sri Kanakadas about Mr. Nagaraju’s proposal. Similarly, it was decided to name Adoni-Uulchal Y Junction as Sri Sri Sri Sri Chatrapathi Sivaji Maharaj Circle at the request of Kurnool Marath Seva.
