Dheeraj Bhavimane, a final year BCom student of KLE Society’s Lingaraj College, Belagavi, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) to be held in New Delhi later this month. He will represent Karnataka at the national level camp.
According to an official release, Cadet Bhavimane was selected from the NCC Karnataka and Goa Directorates during the Republic Day Camp selection held in Bengaluru recently.
He is a cadet of 26th Battalion Karnataka NCC, Belagavi. His selection is a matter of pride for the institution and the NCC unit, the release said.
Commanding Officer of 26 Battalion NCC Karnataka, Col Sunil Dagar, Lt Col Siddharth Redhu, KLE Society Chairman Prabhakar Kore, Joint Secretary Prakash Kadakol, Principal HS Melinmani, NCC Officer Major Mahesh Guranagoudar, Major Subedar Kallappa Patil and other students felicitated.
