On Saturday 17th May, the champions of Knikht Riders champions were excluded from the Indian Premier League 2025 after washing in Bengalur. The KKR, who were SubstPar this season, had to win against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to stay alive in the competition. However, it was not supposed to be because the rain refused to die at the M. Chinnaswama stadium on Saturday.
After a long wait, the match was dismissed at 22:25 in the hope that there would be a maybe 5-over competition in Bengalur. But as the rain refused to leave, the match officials do not want to risk that players will compete in a risk field.
