Kalyna Karnataka of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCI) submitted a detailed memorandum of the Minister of Trade Union for Consumer Affairs, Food Distribution and the Public and New and Renewable Energy Prahlad Joshi during his visit to Kalaburagi, who recently pushed his intervention to meet several long -term regional requirements.
The memorandum presented by President Kkcci Sharanabasappa Papp and Secretary of Shivaraj V. Inginshetta emphasized key concerns and sought the Union’s government in the field of industrial, agricultural and infrastructure development in Kalaburagagi and the larger Kalyana Karnataka region.
One of the primary appeals is the formal establishment of the railway division in Kalaburagagi, sanctioned in 2014, but must still be operated. Although the government acquires 41 acres of land, the absence of a functional division has left the railway complaints in the region scattered across five zones, causing administrative inefficiency. In particular, Kalaburagi and Wadi create significant revenue for transport for the SOLAPUR division, the memorandum noted.
KKCCI also demanded that Kalaburagi be announced as an aspiration district that quoted its bad indicators of human development and the level of income compared to neighboring districts that are already within the Aayog Niti system.
The Chamber also raised serious concerns about the unlimited imports of Tur Dal, which according to her destabilized prices and adversely affected farmers and local processing units.
The memorandum also advocated 5% interest absorption on term loans used by agro -process units, including DAL and rice mills in Kalaburagi, Yadgir and Raichur, which are under pressure due to high interest rates and NPA consolidation. He noted that these units are necessary to add rural employment and agricultural values to this support.
The Chamber also urged the project of a project stopped Mega Textile Park Sanciono in 2011 by the budget of Crore 46.39 GBP. Although the first installment was published, the project stopped due to procedural problems. With more than 10,000 qualified textile workers in the region and extensive cotton cultivation in the area, its revival can significantly increase employment and regional economic activity, the memorandum noted.
Another main requirement was the recording of the MSME Technology Center originally approved for Shahabad in Kalaburagagi in 2013–14. Due to the unresolved land dispute, the project was moved to another state. KKCCI emphasized the need to restore this initiative, especially with regard to the high level of unemployment in the region, which also includes two existing aspiration districts, Yadgir and Raichur.
In addition, the Chamber recommended that the bombai-kanyakumari industrial corridor be directed via Kalaburagagi. He proposed the development of an industrial corridor covering 1,000 hectares in an area that will help attract investments, stimulate industrial growth and reduce unemployment in one of the most backward regions of the state.
The KKCCI office bearers expressed confidence that Mr. Joshi, due to his higher position and the proximity of the Prime Minister, would promote the thing and ensure that the Kalyan Karnatak region was given long -term attention.
