Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) will launch the fourth edition of its educational reality show ‘Haritha Vidyalayam’ in December. The initiative aims to showcase the achievements and best practices of the state’s public education sector on a national platform.
Government and aided schools are invited to apply for the scheme by November 15, according to an official release. Applications are sought separately for primary schools and secondary/senior secondary school categories. Interested candidates can apply through the portal www.hv.kite.kerala.gov.in.
Schools will be selected for the preliminary round based on various key parameters, including academic and co-curricular activities, infrastructural facilities, social participation, integration of digital learning, recognized awards and school-specific innovative activities.
The primary goal of the program is to recognize the creative and exemplary work of schools, to make them known to the public, to share these successful models with other institutions and ultimately to raise the overall level of public education.
