Kerala infrastructure and technology for education (kite), technology wing of general education department has successfully implemented comprehensive online online portals to fully digitize the activities of the National Services (NSS) across higher secondary (HS) and professional high secondary schools (VHSE) schools.
For the first time in India, India are administrative processes for SAC units, which include approximately two MAKH students, switching to a completely online platform and starting with the academic year 2025-26, the official edition said.
The portal for 1,529 HS units is accessible at www.dhsens.kite.kerala.gov.in and the portal for 345 units of VHSE is accessible through www.vhsens.kite.kerala.gov.in.
According to Kite CEO K. Anvar Sadath, the new SAC management system significantly streamlines operations and reduces the administrative workload for program officers (POS) in schools.
These officials can now directly plan all activities based on the action plan and immediately and digitally record participation in each session. The main reform is the transition of all registers, including a cash book from manual records to fully online format. This will significantly reduce the need for extensive physical documentation.
In addition, the portal enables comprehensive evaluation of activities, orientation and community activities for the community camp with the evaluation of the camp and between the districts now systematically carried out by the relevant district and state authorities through the system.
The edition added that digital transformations are expanding to the successful model of the promoted Kite’s ‘Little Kites’ IT clubs, which is already managed by the selection of students, attendance, camp agreements, financial records, sorting and distribution of certificates completely online for 1.8 LakH students a year. The NSS, which increases data transparency, provides POS and other authorities access to comprehensive reports on volunteers, units and their activities.
